Question 384065: the circumference of a coin is 7.87cm. What is the diameter, radius, and area?
Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
circumference = 7.87 cm
pi*d = circumference
3.14*d=7.87
d = 7.87/3.14
diameter = 2.5 cm.
radius = 2.5/2
radius = 1.25 cm
..
Area = pi*r^2
Area = pi*1.25^2
Area= 4.90 cm^2
