Hello,
First lets find the diagonal of the square.
15^2+15^2=x^2
225+225=x^2
Rewritten as:
450=x^2
Square root both sides to get:
x=21.2 inches approx
We know the diagonal of the square is the diameter of the circle.
So now lets find the diameter of the circle.
c=pi times diameter
So:
76=3.14d
Divide both sides by 3.14 to get:
Diameter=24.2 inches
There we go, looks like the square will fit inside the circle, right?
