Since pizza is in form of circle
Area of circle : pi*(r)^2
given r = 22cm and pi = 3.14
A = 3.14*(22)^2
A = 1519.76 square cm

THE SHAPE OF THE PIZZA IS CIRCULAR.
the area of the circle is A = (22/7)* r^2
22/7 = 3.14 and it is also called pie.

R IS THE RADIUS OF THE CIRCLE.
here R is 22cm,
therefore the area is = (22/7) * 22 * 22
= 484 pie cm^2 or ( 1519.76 cm^2)
