Question 297093: I need to build a container that has a circle base and is 10 in high and has a volume of 720 cu in.
Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!

volume of cylinder = 720 cu.in
height = 10 in
720 = pi* r^2 * 10
720/ pi*10 = r^2
22.9=r^2

r= sqrt 22.9
