d=2r, d=10+r ----> 2r=10+r ---> r=10, d=2*10=20

Answer: diameter = 20 cm, radius = 10 cm

The diameter of a circle is 10 centimeters greater than the radius. How long is the radius?
Diameter = 2*Radius so
If R is the radius then:
Diameter = R + 10 = 2*R
2*R - R = 10
R = 10
