Question 186741: If the circumference of a circle is about 31.4 meters, what is the radius?
Answer by uday1435(57) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
C = 2 pi r ( where pi = 3.14, r - radius , C = circumference
Plugging in the values we have
31.4 = 2 x 3.14 x r
Dividing both sides by 2 x 3.14 we get
5 = r
ie the radius = 5 meters
