You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Find the side of a regular octagon inscribed in a circle of radius 10 cm.
------------------
The radius of the octagon is 10 cm, the distance from the center to each vertex.
The octagon is 8 isosceles triangles, each with a central angle of 45 degs.
Divide one of the 8 triangles into 2 right triangles.
The hypotenuse is 10 cms, and the angle is 45/2 = 22.5 degs.
!/2 of the length of a side is 10*sin(22.5) cms =~ 3.8268 cms
The side is 2x that, =~ 7.654 cms
