Would x = 3/2 ?

Answer by math_helper(2461)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!

x is not 3/2. If you showed the work we could point out your mistake.

You have 10*x = 4*(2x+3)
10x = 8x + 12
2x = 12
x = 6
Check:
(2x+3)(4) = (2(6)+3)(4) = 15*4 = 60
and 10(6) = 60
