Question 1003751: A cylinder has a radius of 6 cm and a height of 7cm. Sitting on top of it is a cone with a height of 8 cm. Find the exact surface area and volume of it.
Please include a clear explanation, thank you very much!
Answer by anand429(138) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Surface area = lateral surface area of cylinder + lateral surface area of cone
= 2*pi*r*h + pi*r*l
(Use r = 6, h =7, l= sqrt(8^2+6^2)
Similarly find volume.
