Question 951761: Okay I have a 61 percent mark for math. There is a final exam worth 30 percent of the final grade. I scored about a 71 percent out of a 100 due to my lucky calculator. What is my predicted final grade for the course? And why is my teacher so mean? It seems like the odds are against me this time. Writing the test sick.

Since final exam is 30% of the final grade, then 61 is 70% of the final grade,
If you have 61% of 70% of the points, you have 42.7% of the total points available so far.
final grade = (61*.70) + (71*.30) = 42.7 + 21.3 = 64
