You can put this solution on YOUR website!
two gyms open up right next to each other. In order to increase their business, each comes up with a different marketing strategy. A gym charges no registration fee but charges people 13 dollars per visit to gym. B gym charges a one time fee of 63 dollars and then charges 4 dollars for each visit. ------
A(x) = 13v
B(x) = 63 + 4v
------
How many visits must a person go in order to pay the same amount for each gym?
Solve:
13v = 63+4v
9v = 63
v = 7 (# of visits for equality of A(x) and B(x)
