Question 932751: If I have an 56% in one of my classes, And the final is 15% of my grade what do i need in the final to get a 70% average for the class?

Answer by TimothyLamb(4379)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(1 - 0.15)*56 + 0.15x = 70
0.15x = 70 - (1 - 0.15)*56
x = ( 70 - (1 - 0.15)*56 )/0.15
x = 149.333333333
---
answer:
you need to get 149.333333333 in the final exam ...
that's impossible, so you can't get 70% in the class
