Arithmetic mean of 10 numbers is 36 . Then sum of those ten numbers = 10*36
=360
one of the numbers is 18
sum of remaining numbers = 360-18
=342
arithmetic mean = sum over no of numbers
= 342/9
=38
so mean of other nine = 38
formula used : Sum = mean * no of items
