Let's divide the year into 100 points. So far, the exams in your class add up to a possible total of 70 points. You got 70% of that total, so you got 0.7 x 70 = 49 points.
There are 30 points left to get and you need 76-49=27 more points to reach your goal.
Thus, you need 27/30 = 90%.
