Question 856359: I just have a regular question, forgot how to do the math on this, but anyways if you have 100,75,75,79,100,75 (Test Grades)and your average is an 86 and if you get a 100 on the next test would you be able to raise your average into a 90?

You would need to get 126 to get 90 average
100 grade would get you 86 2/7
BTW your present average is 84 not 86

100*2+75*3+79/6=84 not 86
100*3+75*3+79/7=~86 not enough.
