Question 852257: Find the mean, median, mode and range of 4,14,29,24,20,42,21 and 30
Answer by LinnW(1048)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The mean is (4+14+29+24+20+42+21+30)/8 = 184/8 =23
Here we have added the 8 values and divided by 8
To find the median, we need to reorder to
4,14,20,21,24,29,30,42.
21 and 24 are the middle values so the median is (21+24)/2 = 22 1/2
The mode is the number that occurs the most often.
Since each number is unique, we have no mode, or
we could say that each number is a mode.
