Question 843601: Last week, the librarian kept a record of how many books were checked out each day. She published the results in the weekly newsletter using a graph, but she forgot to label the veritcal (y axis). She said the average/mean of 98 books was checked out each day. So what is the vertical axis going by?
I found out its 14...so the y axis starts at 0 up to 126, and there are 5 days of collected data....
I don't know how to show or explain the work i used to get 14. since my tutor gave me the answer, but he used guess and check. and were not allowed to use guess and check.
