Show that the triangle whose vertices A(3,6) B(-2,-4) and C(-5,2) is a right angeled [sic] triangle. FInd the area of the triangle.
---------------------
Find the slope of AC and BC. If the product of the 2 slopes is -1, they're perpendicular and it's a right triangle. If not, check the slope of AB and see if its slope is the negative inverse of one of the other 2.
