check:
22/25 = 0.88
0.88 * 100 = 88%

If there are 25 question on a test, and you got all right, then you have 100 percent and
if you answered correctly x question on a test and you got 88 percent, then you have proportion:
25%3A100=x%3A88.....solve for x
25%2A88=100x+
25%2A88%2F100=x+
cross%2825%29%2A88%2Fcross%28100%294=x+
+88%2F+4=x+
+22=x+......you got 22 questions right

or, you can do it this way:
if you have 25 questions, one right answer gives you 100%2F25=4 percent
if you got 88 percent, than you got 88%2F4=22 questions right
