Question 791047: A student scored 80, 81, 82, and 83 in the first four tests. If her average score for five tests was 85, what was her score on the fifth test?
Answer by Cromlix(4381) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Average score for five tests = 85
Total marks for five tests = 5 * 85 = 425
Total of 80 + 81 + 82 + 83 = 326
425 - 326 = 99.
This was the student's score for the 5th test.
Hope this helps.
