Question 771143: The volume of a cone with a base area of 12 cm^2 and a height of 9 cm is 72 cm^3. True or False?
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
V = (1/3)*B*h
72 = (1/3)*12*9
72 = 36
This last equation is FALSE. If it changed the 72 to 36, then it would be true, but it's not true because of this.
