Question 747108: I took a Pre-Algebra compass test and I did not do too good, I need to study for it and the questions were like this for example: John had $95 to buy groceries at the super market and he had to buy 6 items each costing $3.75, how much money was he left with?
So these types of questions. I cant for the life of me seem to get a study quide that teaches these types of questions

A question like that is below the Pre-Algebra level. You must build your basic number sense and Arithmetic knowledge before learning "Pre-Algebra". Take the course you NEED and later you can get into the course you WANT.
