Question 707846: what is the perimeter of a semicircle with a rdius of 25ft
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The circumference of this circle is 2*pi*25 = 50pi feet

Cut this in half to get 50pi/2 = 25pi

So the outer curved part of the semicircle is 25pi feet

The straight part of the semicircle is 25*2 = 50 feet.

So in total, the perimeter of the semicircle is 25pi + 50 feet
