Question 701771: My book says that the solution to |w+2| > -5 is all real numbers. Why?
Answer by Edwin McCravy(20056)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Because all absolute values are never negative and therefore
are always greater than any negative number such as -5. So
any real number substituted for w in |w+2| will give a number
greater than -5.
