3^2 + 5^2 + 7^2 = 83, (-7)^2 + (-5)^2 + (-3)^2

You could do it the algebraic way, but we know they're integers so guess-and-check is much faster.

83/3 =~ 27
sqrt(27) =~ 5, the middle number
--> 3, 5 & 7, plus and minus

You can do
(x-2)^2 + x^2 + (x+2)^2 = 83, where x is the middle number
