Question 56198: 2^-3
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2^-3
---------
The minus sign means "invert"
The 3 means "cube"
You may do them in either order
and still get the same answer:
Invert: (1/2)^3
Cube: 1/8
OR
Cube: 8^(-1)
Invert: 1/8
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
