he paid a real estate agent 6% of the sales price to help him sell it.
so, for agent dan paid = 6% of x = 6x/100
he also paid a tax of $32.
dan had $21,968 left after paying taxes and the agent
Therefore, 6x/100 +32 + 21968 = x
=> x - 6x/100 = 22000
=>x-0.06x = 22000
=>0.94x=22000
x=22000/0.94=23404(appx) ---dan sold amount
