A student in an algebra course has test scores of 76, 90, 73, and 86. What score on the next test will raise the student's average to 80?
-------------------
76 + 90 + 73 + 86 = 325
80*5 = 400
He/she needs 400 - 325 = 75
-----------------
The 75 will bring it down to 80, not raise it.
325/4 = 81.25 avg
