Question 458047: What is the length of the shorter leg of the 30-60-90 degree triangle with the lengths of 25cm , 21.65cm, and x?

The longer leg is sqrt(3)x the shorter leg is x
and the hypotenuse (the longest side) is 2x
So the longest side must be 25cm
so the shorter leg is 1/2*25 cm= 12.5 cm
or sqrt(3)x=21.65
x=25/sqrt(3)=12.4996

x=12.4996 or x=12.5
They should be the same. The problem is the accuracy of 21.65.
It should be 21.6506 to get 12.5 and 25 for the other sides.
