Angle A and Angle B are complementary angles. If Angle A is six more than three times Angle B, what are the measures of the angles?
.
Let x = measure of angle B
then
3x+6 = measure of angle A
.
Sum of complementary angles equal 90 degrees:
x + 3x+6 = 90
4x+6 = 90
4x = 84
x = 21 degrees (angle B)
.
angle A:
3x+6 = 3(21)+6 = 63+6 = 69 degrees

Angle A and Angle B are complementary angles. If Angle A is six more than three times Angle B, what are the measures of the angles?
..
A+B=90 deg
B=90-A
A=3B+6=3(90-A)+6
A=270-3A+6
4A=276
A=69 deg
B=90-69 = 21 deg
Ans:
Angle A=69 deg
Angle B=21deg

I never learned "the five steps for problem solving" (lots of problems have way more than five steps...) but here's how you solve it.
Suppose angle B = b. Then, angle A = 3b + 6 (subject to the given condition). They are complementary, so
b + (3b + 6) = 90
4b + 6 = 90
4b = 84 --> b = 21, so angle B = 21 and angle A = 69 (degrees)
