Question 371749: find the slope of a line that contains each pair of points:
(2x,y)and (x,3y)

Answer by Alan3354(69443)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
m = (3y-y)/(x-2x)
m = 2y/-x
m = -2y/x
----------
This is not a good choice of variable names (x and y) since it could be confused the the coordinates x & y.
