Find the value of y if the mean of x ,y,15, and 35 is 25
and the mean of x,15, and 35 is 27

(x+y+15+35)/4=25
(x+15+35)/3 = 27

Solve the 2nd for "x":
(x+50) = 81
x = 31
-----------------
Now solve the 1st for "y":
(31+y+15+35) = 100
y+81 = 100
y = 19
