Answer by tmarienatree(17)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
you would do some work... well duh but here here is how youo do it then the steps on how! k?
1050=1000(1+rx1)
-1000 + 2r

1050 = 2r
+1000
-----
1050 = 2r
----- ------
2r 2r
r=1050
STEPS!!
1) ok you fill in all the letters with the numbers that are said.
2) you have to rember pemdas (thats steps you should no it!) you have to ix everything you can in the () in this promblem you multipled 1xr=1r then added 1r+1 and got 2r them you worrk outside of the ()
3.subtract 1000 (in your promblem) to have the number with a letter on one side of the = sign and the numbers without on the other so the 1000 has to go somewhere so you would add it to 1050 so you would get 2100
4.divide everything by 2r to cancle out the 2's and have the r by it self!
after you divide it you should have the awnser 1050=r
i hope i helped you!!
