If the mean of two numbers is 50, then the sum of those two numbers must be 2 times 50 or 100. If the mean of three numbers is 100, then the sum of the three numbers must be 300. If the sum of the first two numbers is 100, and the sum of those two numbers and a third number is 300, what does the third number have to be?
