I am having an argument with my grandson about this one. He is saying the mean is 14...I am saying that you cannot figure this out without knowing the total number of students in the class. Who is right??

May I suggest you assume the total number of students is 60.
Then 30 are 14 yrs old
20 are 15 yrs old
10 are 13 years old.

From that you can figure out the median and the mean.
