Let y be the other number
From the information given, you can write:
Equation #1: x=5y-4
and:
Equation #2: x%2By=26

Substitute the expression for x from Equation #1 into Equation #2:
5y-4%2By=26
Solve for y:
6y-4=26
6y=30
