Question 180916: What is the value of the expression 146x10^6?
Answer by carter6949(26)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
ok this looks to be scientific notation.
ok you have 147*10^6
if you do not see a decimal you always put it at the end of the number (147.)
now look at the (6) if it is a (-6) you will move the decimal left (6) places if it is (+6) then you will move it to the right 6 places. that will give you the number (147000000) remember there is no need to keep the decimal so drop it only if it at the end of your answer..
