At 9:00 am, the distance between them is 11-6 = 5 miles.


Their rate of approaching is  6+9 = 15 miles per hour.


Hence, the travel time after  9:00 am is   =   of an hour = 20 minutes.    


It means that they meet at 9:20 am.    ANSWER
