FIRST YOU NEED TO FIND A COMMON DENOMINATOR.
36 LOOKS LIKE A GOOD CHOICE.
(4*4+2*12+5*3+5*1)/36=(16+24+15+5)/36=60/36=5/3
(5/3)/4=5/3*1/4=5/12 ANSWER FOR THE AVERAGE.
