Of course, x+1 is an integer, and x is the integer before it.

I will assume you meant that 33 is the difference between the squares of two consecutive integers....

The difference between the squares of two consecutive integers is equal to the sum of the two integers:



If the difference between the squares if two consecutive integers is 33, then the two integers are 16 and 17.
