if the difference between the square of a positive integers and the integer before it is 33. what is the integers?
-------------------------------------------------

Here are the two integers before solving:
x and x+1.
Of course, x+1 is an integer, and x is the integer before it.

The description:
x%5E2-%28x%2B1%29=33
x%5E2-x-1-33=0
x%5E2-x-34=0
This interpretation is not working.

THE DESCRIPTION ANOTHER WAY:
%28x%2B1%29%5E2-x%5E2=33
x%5E2%2B2x%2B1-x%5E2=33
2x%2B1=33
2x=33-1
2x=32
highlight_green%28highlight%28x=16%29%29---------

The integers are 16 and 17.

check
17^2-16^2=33 ?
289-256
33
yes

You post your problem SO INACCURATELY written, that the tutors must perform the entire investigation to reveal its real meaning.

AGAIN: your post formally does not make sense, since grammatically it is INCORRECT.

I will assume you meant that 33 is the difference between the squares of two consecutive integers....

The difference between the squares of two consecutive integers is equal to the sum of the two integers:

If the difference between the squares if two consecutive integers is 33, then the two integers are 16 and 17.
