The average allowance per head of the office is Tk.400 and that of the clerks is Tk.56. If there are twelve officers, find the number of clerks in the office.

(2)  "The average allowance per head of the office is Tk.400"



Could you explain me PLEASE what is the difference in population between (1) and (2) ?  In my view, the population is the same.

Then why the numbers Tk.60  and  Tk.400 are different ?
