Question 1066321: in a triangle, the mid sized angle is 8 more than the smallest angle and the largest angle is 4 less than twice the smallest angle. If the sum of the measures of all three angles is 180, find the measure of each angle in this triangle.
Answer by addingup(3677)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
s : small angle
m : medium angle
l : large angle
---------------------------
m = s+8
l = 2s-4
------------------
s+m+l = 180 substitute per above:
s+s+8+2s-4 = 180
4s = 176
s = 44
and:
m = s+8 = 44+8 = 52
l = 2s-4 = 2(44)-4 = 84
-----------------------------
Check:
s = 44
m = 52
l = 84
------
. . 180 Correct
