A student has an average of 72% on 7 tests. What average score will this student need to achieve on the next 3 tests to raise her overall average to 75%?

Total points on 1st 7 tests:: 7*72 = 504
Total points needed to have overall average of 75%:: (7+3)75 = 750
-------
Equation:
(7*72 + 3x)/10 = 75
504 + 3x = 750
3x = 246
Ans:: x = 82%
