That depends upon how much the test is worth and how much work has already been completed.
For example, if you have scored 58 out of a possible 100 points so far and the test is worth 100 points, you now have 58 + 26 out of 200. 74/200 = 37%
However, if this is, say, the 6th exam and you already have 58% out of 500, now you would have (.58*500)+26 for a total of 290+26 or 316/600 = 52.67%
