My average results from the last 4 maths exams was 18 out of 25.
What mark do i need in my fifth exam in order to increase the average by 3%?
:
Find your average now
* 100 = 72
A 3% improvement would be 75
:
At total of five tests
let x = the grade of the fifth test
= 75
288 + x = 5(75)
x = 375 - 288
x = 87% is the required grade on the fifth test
