x+y=3
: Estimate the solution by graphing. then use the addition method to solve the system.
y=x-7
x+y=3

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y=x-7---> EQN 1
x+y=3---> EQN 2
Combine similar terms in EQN 1 then add to EQN 2:
y-cross(x)=-7
cross(x)+y=3
=2y=-4 -----> cross(2)y/cross(2)=-cross(4)2/cross(2)
=highlight(y=-2)
For x:
via EQN 1: -2=x-7 ---> -2+7=x ---> highlight(x=5)
See graph:
drawing(300,300,-8,8,-8,8,grid(1),graph(300,300,-8,8,-8,8,x-7,3-x),circle(5,-2,.20))--- see both lines interesect at points(5,-2)
*Remember: green line ---> x+y=3
Red line ----> y=x-7
Thank you,
