Question 181524This question is from textbook College Algebra the Graphing Approach
: Given f(x) = x^4-2x^2-15x
1. Find the x-intercepts of the function f(x)
I Have This
x^3-2x^2-15x=0
x(x+3)(x-5)
x+3=0 x-5=0 x=0
x=-3 x=5
(-3,0), (5,0), (0,0)
I'm having trouble with #3 and 4
3. What is the domain and range of f(x)
4. Over what ranges is f(x) and increasing and decreasing function.
These problems work off the f(x) = x^3-2x^2-15x
Hope you can help me. Thanks
