Question 496613: Problem: The measure of an angle is 20 less than the measure of its supplement. Find the measure of the angle, the measure of its supplement, and the meaure of its complement.
If possible, will you also please show me how you set up the equation to solve this because I would like to learn how to do problems similar to this one as well.
I mainly don't understand how to find the compliment after I solved it for the supplement, but if you could show how to work the whole problem that would be great so I can make sure that I know how to solve this problem correctly.

Question 497510: An angle is 20 degrees more than four time its complement, how do I figure this out? I know what a complement is, I just don't know how to figure this problem out since I wasn't given an original degree.
Also:
Find the supplement of angle A if m(A = 3x + 50.
How do I figure this out as well?
I am not looking for the answer, unless you are going to provide me with detailed steps with it. I am looking for an explanation on how to figure it out this way I can figure out other similar problems! Please don't just hand me an answer I need steps and thorough explanations that I can understand! Thank you!
