so now lets define the angles.
The first angle is angle T
Lets call the second angle X
Now by the definition of supplementry angles we know that
angle T plus angle X equals 180 or

Now the question states that angle T is 20 more than four times its supplement.
Lets write this sentence as an equation:

So just replace the T in with 20+4X like this:

Now just solve for X

combine 4X and X
subtract 20 from both sides
divide both sides by 5

Now that you have found X=32 just replace X in
