Supplementary angles add to 180 degrees.
Let the smaller angle=x
The larger angle is 4x+30
They add to 180 degrees.
Substitute.
x + (4x+30)=180
5x +30=180
subtract 30 from both sides.
5x=150.
Divide by 5 on both sides
x=30
4x+30=4(30) +30=150
The two angles are 30, and 150.
The given angle is 150. (answer the question!!!) Its supplementary angle is 30, and 150 is 30 more than 4 times 30.
